I believe that everyone can benefit from speaking with a counsellor, regardless if there is a specific issue that needs to be addressed or not. Sometimes we may sense that things ‘aren’t quite right’ but may not be able to identify a specific cause as to why we may be feeling this way. Counselling can help us identify what areas in our life might need changing, offer us a different perspective to our experiences, and help us navigate areas where we may be struggling.

I provide both individual and couples counselling for a variety of mental health concerns:

SESSIONS
Individual Counselling (50 minutes) $150

Yoga

I offer private therapeutic yoga sessions which are tailored to your unique needs and goals. We begin with an initial assessment to discuss any injuries, medical conditions, and mental health concerns you would like to address and I will design a class or program customized just for you.

Yoga classes are beginner friendly and customized for all body types and levels of mobility, no yoga experience required!

A regular yoga practice can be a great way to support mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing; however, it is important to note that therapeutic yoga is a complementary practice to psychotherapy and not a replacement for it.

All classes are taught from a trauma-sensitive and eating disorder informed perspective.

Integrated Counselling + Yoga

Integrating counselling and yoga is a wonderful way to bring an experiential and embodied component to the therapeutic process.

Prior to our counselling session, I will guide you through a custom 30 minute yoga and/or meditation practice to bring clarity and balance to your mind and help you feel more connected to your body.

During our 45 minute counselling session we will explore what came up for you and process any thoughts, sensations, and emotions you may have experienced. This integrated approach offers tools and insights for self-expression, emotional release, and reconnection to the power and wisdom of your body.

75 minute yoga + counselling $170
(30 minutes of yoga and/or mindfulness meditation followed by 45 minutes of individual counselling)

I offer a 15 minute complimentary consultation to answer any questions you may have before beginning your counselling journey.

The consultation call also allows me to get an understanding of what you are looking for in a therapist and what your counselling goals are.

This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little and determine if we would be a good fit to work together.

Initial Appointment

During our first appointment we will dive deeper into your intentions and expectations for therapy, what changes you would like to see happen in your life, and explore your personal history.

We will assess whether you are interested in short term counselling to address specific problems areas in your life, or longer term counselling to work through more complex issues that you may be experiencing.

Subsequent Sessions

Here is where our work together really begins! As we move deeper into the therapeutic process we will explore how past experiences and interpersonal dynamics may be affecting your present reality and I will offer tools and resources that you can utilize outside of sessions to help move you forward.

This is a time for gaining insight into behaviours, thinking processes and relationship patterns that may be negatively affecting your mental wellbeing. Together we will outline actionable steps that you can implement into your life in order to experience higher levels of peace, joy, and autonomy.
